Born in Chile, Dr. Luis Concha is a biochemist. As Associate Director for Research and Development, Luis is responsible for running experiments in the lab, analyzing and tracking data with an objective to perfect the science behind Amprion’s assay. In plain English, Luis is the Field Captain of the Prion Patrol Swat Team.
A pioneer in the science of detecting misfolded proteins, Amprion advances the diagnosis of brain disorders. Our SAAmplify™-ɑSYN Test aids physicians in diagnosing Parkinson’s, Lewy body dementia, and Alzheimer’s with Lewy body variant. We plan to launch more biomarker tests in the future.
